IMG_3282Cheray’s unique style of Biomechanical Postural Assessment with Deep Tissue Sports Massage allows her experienced hands on techniques to include Myofascial Release, Neural Muscular Trigger Point Release with stretching in her treatments. She can help with preventing Injuries in specific sports and help with guidance on Rehabilitation. Cheray has worked extensively on athletes in the area for over 20 years and with pregnancy and  new moms helping with postural discomforts and Infant Massage. Her newest passion is in Yamuna Ball Rolling  and she is fully certified  to teach one on one and group classes. She believes in the Yamuna ball work and feels that everyone of her clients  should learn new fun easy ways of stretching to prevent injuries through movement and take initiative to self massage muscles as often as needed in between RMT visits.

Keeping healthy structural alignment and movement through our core strength is also important after a massage. Learning about your problem areas and specifically balancing target muscles during a  massage is the key to prevention of ongoing soft tissue pain. Come learn some more about muscle imbalances and how they effect your structural alignment. Enjoy this new awareness with a deeper  tissue release massage that relaxes and balances your body, mind and spirit.

Registered Massage Therapist:  Ali Richmond                                                                                                 

Ali has called the Sea to Sky corridor home for over 20 years and has received her diploma certificate from Langara College in Vancouver and RMT licence for medical receipts. She thrives on working with clients to improve mobility or decrease discomfort. She believes strongly in sharing her observations with clients so that they learn more about their bodies and are active participants in the healing process. Ali works with the individual to determine what the best treatment needs are. She is trained in Swedish massage, myofascial release, cranial sacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage and Rood’s techniques. She has a keen interest in working with the musculoskeletal system to improve respiration and mental well-being and has completed a comprehensive case study on the effects of massage on PTSD by improving respiratory ventilation in first responders.

She is available on Fridays and Saturdays for apt bookings.
